3 years ago I had my DNA tested and had a geneticist do a report. She is now unfortunately retired and not answering any queries or seeing anyone.
I was pre diabetic at the time and she told me that the type of diabetes that I would get was usually misdiagnosed as type 2 but it was a genetic type that would require insulin medication as opposed to metformin or other, if medication was required. Can anyone here help me with what type of diabetes this might be and what genes I am looking at.
I am still managing this without medication.
