How to find out if I have Ehler Danlos markers?

I’ very new to all of this gene stuff. I got my ancestry report a couple of days ago, and I’m trying to work out how to verify (if possible) my suspicion that I have Ehler’s Danlos (possibly classic-like). I’ve signed up and uploaded my DNA but I can’t make head nor tail of all the options open this site! A dummies guide would be very welcomed! thanks

Markers for classic type are COL5A1, COL5A2, and sometimes COL1A1. Inheritance is autosomnal dominant. If you think you have EDS of any sort, you should see a geneticist to confirm it. That is how it is diagnosed. It would be important to check because the geneticist will also test for aortic genes that could lead to problems as well as other forms of connective tissue disease.
