Livewello community "space"

I read, and re-read two emails from Dr. Kwame. I’ve been on computer forums even prior to the days of the internet. I know it is a beta site but the interface is terrible. I have clicked all over the place looking for the “Welcome Thread.” It is no where to be found.

I do not see any section on V4 Beta Announcements. The initial experience is dysphoric to describe it mildly. In the past, I found Livewello not to be User friendly as a website. Please get this together before presenting it in such a disorganized fashion.

I am an MD, with 35 years of experience in gene expression profiling (GEP) that began with TargetOne (now Caris LifeSciences). I have been interested in single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) for the same amount of time and use both somatic and germline testing for almost all of my patients. I think I can bring a lot to this community if the presentation is not so helter-skelter.

I apologize for the lack of clear guidance.

Here is the announcements page: https://community.gene.chat/t/welcome-to-the-livewello-v4-beta/1938

We’re still ironing out a few obvious bugs, but we should be posting a link to the website soon.

Sorry to be such a pain in the derrière, but….

You sent an email on 10/9/25 with the following:

Please take a moment to log in and familiarize yourself with the community platform:

You can:

Introduce yourself in the Welcome Thread

  • Read the V4 Beta Announcements section

  • Bookmark the Bug Reports and Feature Requests categories (we’ll use these soon)

What I have seen so far is a very disorganized website which is the reason I left it previously. Whoever has designed this site needs full genetic testing to rule out the presence of an “I do not know what I am doing” mutation.
The structure of the site, so far, really screams “total mess.”
Basic headers as to Why the site, What does it hope to achieve, How is the site laid out, Who can benefit from Livewell, When you begin exploration into germline, somatic and single nuclear polymorphism (SNP) testing?
Where is this Welcome Thread and where are the introductions of others?

Soon, I will be asking myself, Why am I bothering with this site and wasting my valuable time?

Kwame,

I do not know what your expertise is but my fuse is getting shorter and shorter regarding Livewello.
I believe others feel the same way given the incredibly few responses seen on the website.

I abandoned Livewello for this very same reason in the past. It looks probable that i will again do the same thing in light of the
amateurish level of website development.

you need help before all but a few abandon ship.
